Michael Amey

Joining Duxton in March 2022 as Chief Financial Officer, Michael is responsible for overseeing the finance function across a range of listed and unlisted projects within the Duxton Capital Group. Michael is a Senior Executive with more than 20 years of management and board level experience within heavy manufacturing, retail, hospitality and agricultural industries. Prior to working at Duxton, Michael has held CFO, COO, Director, and Company Secretary positions.

Michael’s expertise is in corporate finance, including managing private equity and founder exits, managing due diligence and data rooms, as well as contract negotiations and technical support. In addition to this, Michael has proven business transformation experience, with comprehensive experience in improving systems and processes, treasury management and driving cultural change and growth in complex environments.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts (Accounting) from S.A.I.T. and an MBA from Adelaide University. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and member of the Governance Institute of Australia.
