Alex Mason

Alex joined Duxton in 2020 and leads sustainability across the Duxton Group, with responsibility for ESG strategy and reporting, mandatory sustainability disclosures, carbon and biodiversity markets, and natural capital initiatives. He works closely with finance, investment and operational teams to support the integration of sustainability into business strategy, risk management, and commercial decision-making across the Group.

Alex has over 10 years’ experience in environmental science, sustainability, and applied research across the commercial and not-for-profit sectors.

He holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours (Ecology and Evolution) and a PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Science from the University of Adelaide.
